If you look at the sleeves or hem of T-shirts, there are two lines of stitches a quarter of an inch apart. It is called the cover stitch. A total of three needles can be used. If you remove the middle needle, it becomes cover stitch and if you use all of them, it becomes a '3-needle 5-thread cover stitch'. |
